The Alliance of Industrial Engineering Majors - University of the Philippines (AIEM-UP) celebrates its first year with IE & BEYOND - How to make that Fresh Start: The Tips and Tricks in the World of Investing held last January 19, 2013 at the Electrical Engineering Auditorium, College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology, University of the Philippines Los Baños.

    Three entrepreneurs established the interest of the crowd towards investing. Gerald Cantor, CPA CIA, a registered Financial Planner and Financial Planner Advocate, had set up the event atmosphere by discussing the basics of investing. Featured next was Aaron Say, CPA CIA, a resource speaker and lecturer at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). Wrapping up the event with sharing a handful of experiences in investing was Gretchen Gardose, an Industrial Engineer and a Financial Consultant.

    Participants within Southern Tagalog and NCR were present as the symposium is open to all students, faculty, and enthusiasts.
